BurnAware Free

BurnAware Free is a disc burning program from Burnaware Technologies. It burns data, audio CDs, ISO images, and DVD-Video to CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs. The interface uses large tiles for each function, making it straightforward to navigate. Unlike Nero Free, the free version does not show ads. Windows only.

What it does

Pick a task from the main screen: Data Disc for files, Audio CD for music, Burn Image for ISO files. Drag your files in, select your burner, and click Burn. Audio CD mode takes MP3, FLAC, WAV, or OGG files and creates a standard audio CD that plays in any CD player.

ISO handling goes both ways - burn an ISO image to disc, or create an ISO from a physical disc or from files on your hard drive. The disc copy function duplicates one disc to another. DVD-Video mode burns a VIDEO_TS folder to create a playable DVD for standalone players.

Data verification after burning compares the disc contents to the original files to make sure nothing was corrupted during writing.
