What it does

When you uninstall a program through Windows Settings or Control Panel, the built in uninstaller often leaves behind configuration files, log files, cached data, and orphaned registry keys. Revo Uninstaller runs the standard uninstaller first, then performs its own scan of the file system and Windows Registry to find everything the original uninstaller missed. You review the list of leftovers and choose what to delete.

The Forced Uninstall mode handles programs that are broken, partially installed, or missing from the Add/Remove Programs list entirely. You point Revo to the program's installation folder or type its name, and it locates and removes all associated traces. Hunter Mode puts a crosshair cursor on your screen that you can drag onto any open window or system tray icon to identify the program and uninstall it, stop its process, or remove it from startup.
