jetAudio is a media player with built-in audio effects and format conversion. It plays music, video files, and internet radio stations, and its main feature is a sound processing engine with effects like X-Bass, BBE, Wide, and Reverb that reshape audio output in real time. What it does

Load your music library and jetAudio plays MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, APE, and most other audio formats without extra codecs. The real draw is the effects panel at the bottom of the player. Turn on X-Bass to boost low frequencies, enable Wide to expand the stereo image, or activate Reverb to add spatial depth. A 10-band equalizer with presets (Rock, Jazz, Classical, and more) lets you shape the sound further. All effects apply in real time as music plays.

The built-in converter handles batch audio format conversion through Tools > Convert Audio File Type. Select source files, pick a target format, adjust bitrate settings, and convert. Internet radio streaming offers a directory of stations sorted by genre. Video playback supports AVI, MKV, and MP4 with subtitle loading, though the video features are more basic than dedicated video players.

jetAudio also burns audio CDs directly and creates playlists in PLS and M3U formats. The interface is compact and skinnable, and the Plus edition unlocks additional sound effects along with a wider selection of visual skins.
